Thoughts

Mom, we all have so many great memories that will never leave us. You were a wonderful, kind, funny, tough, practical, and beautiful mother. You always put us first and gave us a safe and warm home that was always full of fun and laughter (unless we stepped out of line!). You came to America to visit many many times and David, Lindsay, Veronica (and us) have wonderful memories of your vacation here. You will soon be together with Dad and Paul who we miss every day. So look after them up there. You will always be with us, as they are. Love Gary, Paula, David Lindsay and Veronica. xxxxxx

To my wonderful Mum who I loved for so many reasons. You set an example of what a wonderful Mum should be and I have tried to live by your example all my life. You instilled into all of us what was 'right' and 'wrong'. You always worked so hard to help provide for us and, despite having to count every penny, you made sure that your children always came first. You never wanted anything for yourself. I knew that I could always talk to you about anything. Before the Alzheimers took over, you and Dad were a brilliant team. But Mum, we always knew who was the Team Captain !!!!!! For the last Eleven Years you were in Charnwood Care Home and received such wonderful love and care from all the dedicated staff. You and Dad both gave us all so much love and support that we all had a fantastic childhood. You were the best Mum and Dad that I could ask for. I love and miss you both so much. These memories will stay with me forever. R.I.P. Your loving daughter Julie and Son-in-Law Fred XXX
